Richmond, Va. — The Virginia House of Delegates has voted to repeal the law requiring girls to receive the human papillomavirus vaccine before entering the sixth grade.

It happened Monday night in the 2800 block of Barley Court in the Southbridge area of Woodbridge, according to Prince William County police documents.
The victim was inside his house when he heard his dog barking outside, and when he went outside to investigate he was approached by two men, stated police. One of the men had a handgun and demanded money.

Virginia Railway Express CEO Dale Zehner announced his retirement Wednesday from his job as head of the commonwealth’s only commuter railroad. He was the railroad’s first named CEO, and joined VRE in 1995 after a long career in the U.S. Navy.
