Prince William County rescue crews helped federal and Maryland officials search for a missing Alexandria man in the Potomac River on Sunday.
The search for the 26-year-old man continues today.
WOODBRIDGE — A fire truck is out of service today after it caught fire.
Fire and rescue crews at the River Oaks Station — Fire Station 23 in Woodbridge smelled smoke inside one of the fire engines Sunday night. A small fire was located inside of the engine, so crews moved the engine outside of apparatus bay at the station and extinguished the fire.

MONTCLAIR — A fire truck overturned on Waterway Drive on Saturday night.
The truck was called to a car crash at the corner of Waterway Drive and Fallstone Place at 7:04 p.m.
STAFFORD COUNTY — The pool at Curtis Park is closed today after county officials learned someone was affected with a parasitic illness after competing in a swimming competition there.

STAFFORD COUNTY — A shoeless, 26-year-old man hitched a ride on a school bus to Stafford High School.
The bus picked up the man in the Lansberry Park neighborhood in the George Washington District, near Fredericksburg, on Thursday morning. In addition to having no shoes on his feet, the man also had no pack on his back, said Stafford sheriff’s office spokeswoman Amanda Vicinanzo.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — A Maryland man faces sex assault charges after police said she abducted a woman in a Manassas area hotel room.
