The 20-year-old dream of a memorial to honor Virginia’s public safety workers is closer to become reality after a groundbreaking ceremony Friday in Richmond.
The memorial will be placed between the Capitol and the General Assembly buildings in Richmond and should be completed by the end of the year.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — In his State of the County Address today, Prince William Chairman Corey Stewart will talk about class sizes and economic growth, and about how the two are intently related.
In his speech, the At-large chairman notes Prince William as business friendly, and says a broader economic tax base will help improve classrooms across the county now known to have the highest student to teacher rates in the Washington, D.C. region.
Several workshops for real estate professionals will be held this week where leads will be given and valuable information shared.
The sessions are called “Real Estate Building Blocks for Success 2014” and will be in Woodbridge, Gainesville, Manassas, and Fredericksburg.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — It appears several large potholes have formed on Interstate 95 in Stafford County.
Those potholes caught the attention of highway crews and state police that were called to the Falmouth area to repair them and divert traffic, respectively.
