From Prince William police:
Fatal Crash Investigation – On June 1 at 9:08PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 14000 block of Fitzwater Dr in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a single vehicle crash.
The investigation revealed that the driver, and only occupant, of a 2004 Chevrolet Tracker was travelling westbound on Fitzwater Dr in the above area when the driver lost control causing the vehicle to roll over and run off the left side of the roadway. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Speed and alcohol were determined to be a factor. The investigation continues.
