‘Girls on the Run’ registration open

Girls on the Run of NOVA Fall 2015 Registration Now Open Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia is now registering girls in 3rd through 8th grade for their unique, curriculum-based after school program.

By using a curriculum that creatively integrates running with life lessons, Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia supports girls in developing the confidence and character they need to become strong, healthy women.

Girls on the Run NOVA programming is delivered at schools and is available throughout the region including sites in Woodbridge (Antietam Elementary, Marumsco Hills Elementary, Occoquan Elementary, Old Bridge Elementary, and Rosa Parks Elementary), Dumfries (Henderson Elementary and Montclair Elementary), Gainesville (Glenkirk Elementary), Manassas (Loch Lomond Elementary, Signal Hill Elementary, Sinclair Elementary, and Yorkshire Elementary) and Occoquan (Occoquan Elementary).

New for 2015 – Girls on the Run NOVA is offering discounts for active duty and retired military families. In addition, the organization is bringing back special discounts for families registering two or more siblings. Financial aid is also available based on household income. Families can register on the Girls on the Run NOVA website (www.gotrnova.org) until September 21, 2015.
