All lanes of Interstate 95 at Fredericksburg will be briefly stopped just after midnight on Sunday, May 17 for utility work.
The complete traffic stop is expected to last approximately 15 minutes.
Crews will be stretching utility lines across all travel lanes of I-95 northbound and southbound at the Fall Hill Avenue overpass. The overpass is located between Exit 130 at Route 3 in Fredericksburg, and Exit 133 at Falmouth in Stafford County.
Virginia State Police will assist with a slow roll of traffic, which is a gradual slowing of traffic one lane at a time. Motorists should be alert for police activity and expect delays.
