Santa Makes Summertime Appearance, Untrim-A-Tree Benefits

MANASSAS, Va. — In Manassas, it’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas.

On July 25, several came to the city’s Old Town for “Christmas in July” to benefit the Untrim-A-Tree program, which, each year, pairs toys with needy children in Prince William County and the Greater Manassas area.

Several restaurants participated in this year’s event, according to Volunteer Prince William Director Mary Foley:

Here’s a huge Cheers to these super restaurants – Mackey’s American Pub, City tavern, Malone’s, City Square, Carmello’s, Monza, Philadelphia Tavern, Katerina’s, Old Town Sports Pub and Grounds Central Station.

A total of $2,810 was raised for the program, and several new toys were donated to Untrim-A-Tree by Mackey’s and Philadelphia Tavern.
