MANASSAS, Va. — Manassas holds the world record for the largest game of Red Light/Green Light.

It’s official! The City of Manassas has been designated the World Record Holder from Guinness World Records for the largest game of Red Light/Green Light. On May 4, 2013 the City of Manassas Neighborhood Services attempted the world record for this game during the Big Day of Serving 2013.
A total of 775 people were recorded as participating in the world record. This afternoon Guinness sent official word that the City of Manassas holds the title for the largest game of Red Light/Green Light and is “Officially Amazing.”
The City wants to thank all of our many wonderful volunteers and participants, the Boys & Girls Club and the officials, Dan Heldman and Enica Russell who made this record possible.
