
Dale City, Va. –– Police say one man abused and raped a 12-year-old girl.
Officers on Monday night were called to the 14800 block of Dixon Court in Dale City to investigate the rape claim.
When they arrived, they learned the victim had been abused and sexually assaulted, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where she received medical treatment.
Police said the accused and the victim were acquaintances.
Corey Alexander James, 28, of Dale City, is faces charges of forcible sodomy, rape, and with taking indecent liberties with a child, said Perok.
His court date was not released.
The bump on James’ head is not related to his arrest, Perok added.
