Our area could see some severe thunderstorms this evening. If you have outdoor plans, try to get them in before 4 p.m., local weather experts say.
A significantly large cold front will move its way through our region this afternoon bringing with it cooler, more spring like temperatures for the weekend. But before that, the National Weather Service says there is a slight risk of severe weather for the eastern portion in Virginia.
The storm threat remains until 2 a.m., states the weather service. And while temperatures will reach 80 degrees today, tomorrow expect temperatures in the low to mid 60s.
