LORTON, Va. — Interstate 95 at mile post 163 166 near Lorton will close at midnight so crews can restring power lines.
Here’s the latest from the Virginia Department of Transportation:
Weather permitting, tonight March 27, at 11 p.m. the Virginia Department of Transportation will close the right lane on I-95 north and south near Exit 166, Fairfax County Parkway (Route 286), leading to a 30 minute stoppage of traffic in both directions after midnight to allow Dominion Power to install new overhead electrical lines.
Signs and message boards will be posted along the corridor to inform motorist of construction activities. Police will be onsite for motorists safety. All lanes will be reopened by 5 a.m. Thursday morning, March 28.
