Mobile Home Fire Shuts Down Route 1

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A fire at Holly Acres Mobile Home Park caused U.S. 1 Jefferson Davis Highway to be shut down on a busy Friday afternoon.

Around 1 p.m., a single mobile home was in flames in the community was known for having been flooded in 2011. A female was taken to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center for smoke inhalation. A Spanish-speaking officer was called to the hospital to interview her, according to the police scanner.

Prince William County Battalion Fire Chief Curtis Brodie said they have an investigative team on the scene.
