Prince William Water is hosting its fourth annual Trick or Treatment this Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility, 1851 Rippon Boulevard, in Woodbridge.

The free event includes Halloween-themed activities and trick-or-treating at tables hosted by local environmental and community organizations. Attendees can learn about wastewater treatment and take a tour of the facility. Costumes are optional but encouraged. The utility asks people not to wear costumes that could be considered offensive or that include weapons.

Because of construction at the Mooney plant, general on-site parking is not available. Attendees must park at Mary G. Porter Traditional School, 15311 Forest Grove Drive, Woodbridge, and take the free shuttle, which runs from 9:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The last shuttle to the event is at 1:30 p.m. ADA-compliant shuttles are available. Limited on-site parking is available for guests with handicap placards or plates.
