A string of vehicle-related crimes and a variety of arrests were reported by Fredericksburg Police over the past few days.
On November 22 and 23, several vehicles were broken into or tampered with in the downtown area. Incidents included broken windows and stolen items, such as a wallet from an unlocked vehicle on Hanover Street and a laptop on Ashford Circle.
Police made numerous arrests during the same period. Notable charges include breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony (28-year-old man from Richmond), assault and battery on a police officer (40-year-old woman from Marlboro), multiple drug possession charges, shoplifting, and destruction of property valued over $1,000.
Location note: All incidents appear to have occurred in Fredericksburg unless otherwise specified.
