Vandals on Dirt Bikes, Scooter attack Good Samaritan in Manassas

A man was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after being assaulted by a group he had confronted for vandalizing a vehicle at Brentwood Apartments in Manassas. The attack left him with facial lacerations, and police say the suspects fled on dirt bikes and a scooter into Prince William County.

The incident occurred just after 8:20 p.m. when the victim approached four individuals seen damaging a car. After the assault, they were seen riding into the Georgian Hamlet neighborhood and then onto Sudley Road.

Police are asking for help identifying the suspects and have released a flyer with their photos.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding

On Tuesday, November 4th, at 8:22 pm, officers were investigating an assault in the area of Brentwood Apartments. On scene, a victim was located with facial lacerations. Officers provided emergency first aid, and the victim was transported to a local area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that four individuals were seen in the area, vandalizing a vehicle. The victim confronted the group, which led to him being assaulted by several individuals. The suspects were observed fleeing the scene on two dirt bikes and one scooter. They initially traveled into the Georgian Hamlet neighborhood and then proceeded onto Sudley Road, entering Prince William County. A “Can You Identify Flyer” with the suspect’s photos is attached.
