Woodbridge, Va. –– One man walked into a bank, claimed he was armed, and then fled with cash.

Officers were called to the Bank of America at 2611 Prince William Parkway in Woodridge at 5:01 p.m. Thursday for a robbery.

Bank employees told police that an unknown man entered the bank just before it closed, claimed to have a gun but never displayed it, and then demanded money, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

After he was handed the cash, the man left on foot.

No one was injured, and now police hope a clear photo of the alleged robber snapped by a security camera will lead them to their suspect.

He is described as black, between 23 and 28-years-old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a heavy build and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a red short-sleeved shirt with a black design on the front, and black pants, said Perok.
