Press release:

Birmingham Green has once again been ranked by Newsweek Magazine as one of “America’s Best Nursing Homes”. Recognized as the #1 facility in Northern Virginia with more than 150 beds and #2 state-wide, this list honors the nation’s leading nursing homes in 2025 and is awarded per state with the highest number of facilities according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This accomplishment reflects Birmingham Green’s high standard of care, quality services, and steadfast commitment to the well-being of its residents.

“Every day, we strive to provide unparalleled assistance to our community members, making them feel supported, safe, respected, and valued,” says Birmingham Green CEO Denise Chadwick Wright. “This recognition reflects our dedication and reinforces our mission to create a holistic home for those who trust us with their care.”

Compiled in partnership with global data research firm Statista, Newsweek’s annual ranking evaluates skilled providers based on four data sources including quality metrics, a national online survey, accreditation data, and Google reviews. This year, the weighting of the performance data pillar was increased within the scoring model to reflect the emphasis on the medical key performance indicators.

“Being named one of America’s Best Nursing Homes is a testament to the compassion of our entire team. We have pride in giving our residents a fresh start, a new beginning,” says Aaron Rebuck, Nursing Home Administrator at Birmingham Green. “We have such a strong focus on personalized attention for residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs, and an honor such as this helps prove to families that we are the right place for their loved ones.”
