Potomac River Orthodontics to Celebrate One-Year Anniversary with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Potomac River Orthodontics, led by Dr. Owais Naeem, will mark its first anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 4 p.m. The event will occur at 12701 Galveston Court, near Hoadly Road and Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge.

Dr. Owais Naeem, who has been practicing orthodontics for five years, opened the clinic in 2023 following his residency at VCU. “This is my gift back to the community that raised me so people can be happy with their smiles,” said Dr. Naeem.

The clinic is a family venture in the true sense. Dr. Naeem is set to take over his father’s dental practice, Nasir Naeem, who has served the Dumfries community for over 30 years. Naeem’s connection to the area is deep-rooted, having graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School near Manassas, now known as Unity Reed High School, in 2010.

His wife, Dr. Dianna Saffarini, a dentist who shares Naeem’s passion for dental care, joins him in his practice. The couple, who were married in 2020, returned to Woodbridge to contribute to their hometown. They live in Woodbridge with their two daughters, aged 18 and 6 months.

In addition to celebrating their one-year milestone, Potomac River Orthodontics is committed to giving back to the community. The office invites students interested in orthodontics careers to shadow the doctors. Furthermore, the clinic offers complimentary orthodontic treatment to those unable to afford braces or Invisalign.

Residents and interested students are encouraged to RSVP by Friday, August 30, by contacting [email protected].
