Dale City
block of Darbydale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) for an alarm. As officers were responding, a neighbor called police to report that two unknown men were seen attempting entry into a nearby residence by kicking a rear door. Officers arrived and discovered damage to a rear glass door. No entry is believed to have been gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.

2 black males, both reported to be around 18 years of age
1st male was around 5’9” / 130lbs, thin build with short black hair
Last seen wearing a black shirt and dark green shorts
2nd male was around 5’11” / 165lbs, medium build with short black hair and a mustache
Last seen wearing a dark blue shirt and blue jeans
Manassas
Commercial Burglary – On August 20th at 9:00AM, police responded to the Coverstone Apartments Rental Office located at 10934 Coverstone Dr in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on August 17th and 8:00AM on August 20th. There were no signs of forced entry into the business. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and miscellaneous items, valued around $600, were reported missing
Dumfries
Residential Burglary – On August 21st at 8:55AM, police responded to the 18100 block of Tebbs Ln in Dumfries (22026) for an alarm. Police arrived at the residence and discovered a rear basement door had been forced open. Officers checked the residence; no suspect(s) were located. No items were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On August 21st at 4:34AM, police responded to the 2300 block of McClellan Ct in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that he was sleeping in the basement area of the residence when he awoke to an unknown man inside the residence. Once being noticed by the homeowner, the man fled the residence. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked basement door. A gaming console and game, valued around $250, were reported missing. The homeowner was unable to provide police with a description of the intruder.
North Stafford
Vandalism — Windows were shattered in three businesses at 556 Garrisonville Road between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Windows at S and I Auto Insurance, Nails for Today, and American Tattoo, were shattered and had to be replaced at a cost of $220 each.
Vandalism — Two ATVs were stolen from a shed behind North Stafford High School at 839 Garrisonville Road between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
A school employee came to work at 6 a.m. Tuesday and found the vehicles missing. The green and yellow – colored ATVs were valued at $8,000 each.
This marks the second time in as many weeks vandals broke into a storage shed behind the school.

Fatal Hit & Run Crash Investigation – On April 24 at 10:19 p.m., officers responded to the area of Richmond Highway and Pine Bluff Drive in Dumfries to investigate a crash involving a motorcycle.
“7News On Your Side has obtained an email revealing Prince William County Public Schools removed a speech-language pathologist from their list of evaluators because he “sides with the parents.””, reports ABC7 News.
On April 27, crash investigators obtained arrest warrants for the driver of the truck who was involved in the fatal collision that occurred in the area of Richmond Hwy. and Pine Bluff Dr. in Dumfries (22026) on April 24. The investigation revealed the driver of the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, later identified as the accused, failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle before entering the intersection where the vehicles collided. The resulting crash killed a 20-year-old Dumfries man.
