Police have their suspect in custody following a shooting in Woodbridge six months ago.
On January 1, the suspect wanted in connection to a shooting at the Bayvue Apartments, located in the 1200 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge on June 10, 2020, was arrested.
Tyree Rashad Henderson, 23 was located in Fairfax and taken into custody by members of the Virginia State Police, a Prince William police spokeswoman tells PLN.
Henderson lives at 528 E. Alexandria Avenue in Alexandria. He’s Charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, police said.
Police found the shooting 31-year-old woman shot outside in the common area of the complex suffering at 1:49 a.m. on June 10. She was taken to an area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspect and the victim were involved in an argument before shots rang out, police said.
