Teen reports rapes
A Dale City man faces rape charges after police were called to investigate a sex assault.
The 14-year-old female victim in the case told police she has been repeatedly raped by the suspect, an acquaintance, since she was 12-years-old, said Prince William police.
Police were called Monday to a home in the 14700 block of Brooke Road in Dale City to investigate the sex assaults, said Prince William police.
MacArthur Donald Taylor, 28, of Brooke Drive in Dale City, is charged four counts of aggravated sexual battery and with four counts of carnal knowledge, said Prince William police.

Stolen truck recovered
A Stafford sheriff’s deputy was called to an Exxon gas station on Va. 630 in Stafford about 2 a.m. Saturday for a report of a stolen truck.
When he arrived, a man exited the driver’s side of the truck and walked to the rear of the vehicle. The man appeared to be uneasy on his feet, and the deputy could smell alcohol on the man, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
The deputy asked the man for his license, which he then provided. Registered in California, the license was expired and a hit came back from Florida showing the man was wanted in that state, said Kennedy. Upon further investigation, the truck was reported stolen from Richmond.
Michael Gherardi is charged with possession of stolen property, providing a false ID, drunk in public, as well as faces extradition charges to Florida, said Kennedy.
