A 12-year-old girl told police she had been raped repeatedly by the same man since November.

On Wednesday, police made an arrest in the case.

The victim was raped by an acquaintance in the suspect’s home in the 13200 block of Treetop Court in Woodbridge, near Hamill Mill Park.

Juan Vicente Mancia-Sandoval, 55, is charged with rape and was held without bond.

Police: Man lied about robbery
A man who told police he was robbed in Woodbridge turned out to be lying, police said.

The 34-year-old now charged with filing a false police report told police that two men approached him in Foulgers Square, where a Home Depot and Kohls Department Store are located, assaulted him and took his wallet on Jan. 11.

Police arrested the man Wednesday and filed charges against him.

Thomas Jerome Thurman, 34, of 1413 Bayside Avenue #101 in Woodbridge, was charged in connection to the incident, said Prince William police. His bond or court information was not released.
