The Dominos pizza corporation is reacting today to a social media post that alleges a manager at its Dale City location is forcing sick people to work.
The post on Facebook alleges that managers and a driver are sick, and were told to come to work after they told management they wanted to be tested, presumably, for the coronavirus disease. The post was shared with Potomac Local News:
We questioned Dominos about the post, and they responded.
“…it is my understanding that this was posted by a disgruntled former employee…As a system, we always have very high standards for food safety and employee safety. No one who is sick is allowed to work and anyone who feels unwell is also staying home at this time,” Dominoes spokeswoman Jenny Fouracre-Petko told Potomac Local News.
No additional information was provided about the employee.
The Dominos location in question is located at 2886 Dale Boulevard in Dale City.
In a recent post to the company’s corporate website, Dominos outlines the precautions it is taking to serve customers during the coronavirus outbreak.
