
A 16-year-old male was robbed at gunpoint on November 25 near Manassas. The victim had arranged to sell clothing items through Instagram when he was approached by three individuals. One of the males brandished what appeared to be a firearm, while another took the clothing items before fleeing in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.
In another incident, a road rage altercation on November 27 in Haymarket involved a driver brandishing a firearm. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, encountered a man who exited his vehicle holding a gun. No shots were fired, and the suspect drove away without causing injuries.
On November 28, two separate incidents of reckless handling of a firearm were reported in Woodbridge and Manassas. In both cases, shots were fired at residences, but no injuries or significant property damage occurred.
Police have also made several arrests related to other incidents, including an armed robbery in Woodbridge where two suspects were detained, and a strong-arm robbery in Manassas involving a food delivery driver.

Armed Robbery – On November 25 at 3:22PM, officers responded to the 8100 block of Skystone Lp in Manassas (20110) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, made arrangements through Instagram to sell clothing items. During the encounter, three individuals, a female and two males, met the victim in the above area where one of the males brandished part of what was believed to be a firearm. The other male suspect then grabbed the clothing items and left the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. The suspects were described as two Hispanic males, and one Hispanic female, all reportedly in their mid-late teens.
Brandishing of a Firearm – On November 27 at 6:19PM, officers responded to the area of Waterfall Rd and Antioch Rd in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a road rage incident. The investigation revealed the victim, a 23-year-old woman, was driving in the above area when she encountered the driver of another vehicle described as a dark-colored pickup truck. At one point during the encounter, the driver stopped the vehicle in front of the victim before exiting the vehicle while holding a firearm. The parties separated, and the other vehicle drove away. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. No driver was described as a white male in his mid-50s wearing a plaid shirt and jeans.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On November 28 at 10:51PM, officers responded to the Commons on Williams Square Condominiums located in the 1800 block of Cedar Cove Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed a single gunshot struck a residence. No injuries or other property damage were reported. This incident does not appear to be random.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On November 28 at 8:32PM, officers responded to the 8000 block of Portwood Turn in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple gunshots were heard which struck a residence in the above area. The rounds did not appear to enter the home. No injuries or other property damage were reported. During a check of the area, officers located several shell casings on nearby Meadow Ct. A police K-9 search the area for the involved parties, no suspect(s) were located.
Arrests
Armed Robbery – On November 25 at 1:13PM, officers responded to the 14800 block of Dining Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a physical altercation had occurred between two groups. During the encounter, a member of one of the groups, a 16-year-old male juvenile, was assaulted by the group that was armed with a knife and then robbed of his shoes before the parties dispersed. Minor injuries were reported. Responding officers stopped a vehicle leaving the area and detained four suspects involved in the incident. Following the investigation, two of the suspects, identified as Laron Anthony MORTON and Daniel Josefe HOFMANN, were arrested, while charges were sought for the other two suspects, identified as two 17-year-old male juveniles.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 28-year-old man, was delivering food in the above area when a verbal altercation occurred with the homeowner, later identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused reportedly took the victim’s property and smashed out one of the victim’s windows. No injuries were reported. Officers were located the suspect at his residence where he was detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jayquan Marguel WATERS, was arrested.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 38-year-old man, was involved in a dispute with the driver of another vehicle, later identified as the accused, in a parking lot in the above area. During the encounter, the accused reportedly struck the victim’s vehicle with his vehicle causing minor damage before a witness attempted to intervene. At that point, the accused circled the lot and steered his vehicle at the victim’s vehicle and the witness standing nearby. Two family members of the victim, including a 1-year-old child, were inside the vehicle at the time. The parties separated and the accused left the area. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Muhammad AZEEM, who was taken into custody at his residence without incident.

When officers arrived, the individual, later identified as the accused, was acting disorderly while being restrained by family members. After being detained by officers, the accused repeatedly kicked one of the officers to the lower body. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Edwin Noe CHAVARRIA, was arrested.
