
In a series of DUI incidents in Stafford County, a 33-year-old woman from Stafford was arrested after failing to maintain her lane on Oakridge Drive and Garrisonville Road.
The driver, who displayed signs of intoxication, became combative during the arrest, leading to charges of assault and battery on law enforcement, obstruction of justice, and refusal to provide a blood sample. She was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond, police said.
Earlier, a 38-year-old man from Spotsylvania was stopped on I-95 for similar reasons, according to police. He was found with an open alcoholic beverage in his vehicle and charged with DUI, drinking while operating a vehicle, and a traffic lane violation. He was also held without bond, police said.
Additionally, a 68-year-old man from Fredericksburg was arrested at the Super 8 Motel on Warrenton Road. Witnesses reported him intoxicated in the parking lot, and he admitted to driving there, police said. He was charged with DUI and drinking while operating a vehicle, and held without bond.

LARCENY
Simpson Road, 11/12 4:22 a.m. Deputy A. J. Charoenthep responded to a reported larceny. The victim advised that someone had stolen a license plate and a lock from a box truck.
The Range, 62 Potomac Creek Drive, 11/12 12:52 p.m. Deputy J. A. Kotvas responded to a larceny report. The victim reported that an unknown individual had stolen a ladder and vacuum cleaner from the business.
DUI
Northbound I-95, mile marker 143.0, 11/12 2:43 a.m. Deputy N. J. Amato was travelling on northbound I-95 when he noticed a vehicle failing to maintain the lane of travel to include crossing the fog line into the shoulder. A traffic stop was initiated, and contact was made with the driver. The driver had heavy, glassy eyes and an odor of alcoholic beverages coming from his person. An open can of alcoholic beverage was observed within the vehicle. After performing field sobriety tests, the driver was detained. The driver was identified as Cedric Jones, 38, of Spotsylvania. Jones was charged with driving under the influence (second offense within five years), drinking while operating a motor vehicle, and the traffic lane violation. Jones was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.Super 8 Motel, 557 Warrenton Road, 11/12 8:50 p.m. Deputy R. A. Kehoe responded to a report of an intoxicated person. Witnesses advised a male subject exited a vehicle, fell to the ground, and was intoxicated in the parking lot. Deputy Kehoe arrived on scene while other deputies had already made contact with the subject. The subject displayed clear signs of intoxication and admitted to driving to the business. A half-empty bottle of Vodka was observed within the vehicle. The subject was taken into custody. Allan Johnson, 68, of Fredericksburg was charged with driving under the influence (second offense within five years) and drinking while operating a motor vehicle. Johnson was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
Oakridge Drive and Garrisonville Road, 11/13 12:02 a.m. Deputy S. Waheed observed a vehicle failing to maintain the lane of travel. Deputy Waheed observed the vehicle cross both the center line and the yellow median line. A traffic stop was initiated, and contact was made with the driver. The driver was observed to have glassy, bloodshot eyes. After conducting field sobriety testing, the driver was taken into custody. The driver was identified as Anjelika Saez, 33, of Stafford. As deputies began to place Saez into the patrol vehicle, she began to become combative. Other deputies arrived on scene to assist in getting control of Saez who continued to kick and grab deputies. After OC spray was utilized, Saez was able to be placed into the patrol vehicle and transported to the Magistrate’s Office. Saez was charged with six counts of assault and battery to law enforcement, obstruction of justice by force, refusal to provide a blood sample, driving under the influence, and failure to maintain lane. Saez was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
