
An incident occurred on Edwards Drive when deputies responded to a disturbance involving an intoxicated individual. The suspect, a 21-year-old male from Mineral, was found walking along Deacon Road. He provided false identification and resisted arrest, eventually assaulting several deputies at the Rappahannock Regional Jail, police said. He faces multiple charges, including assault and battery on law enforcement.
In other incidents, a larceny was reported at Independence Drive where a vehicle was broken into, and a firearm was among the stolen items. Additionally, two separate DUI arrests were made. A 34-year-old male from Woodbridge was stopped for speeding and found to be under the influence, while a 51-year-old female from Stafford was found in a disabled vehicle with signs of intoxication.
Shoplifting was also reported at a Walmart on Garrisonville Road, where a suspect was caught skip-scanning items. The suspect was released on a summons.

LARCENY
Marathon Gas, 3884 Richmond Highway, 11/7 12:01 p.m. Deputy J. A. Kotvas responded to the business for a larceny report. The business reported that a suspect entered the store and stole a large number of lighters.
Sheehy Toyota, 95 Garrisonville Road, 11/7 5:03 p.m. Deputy H. R. Perkins responded to a larceny investigation at the dealership. The business reported that a customer drove their vehicle off without paying for repairs completed on the vehicle.
Independence Drive, 11/8 7:27 a.m. Deputy C. D. Sullivan responded to a larceny complaint. The victim reported that they came out to their vehicle to find it had been broken into. There were numerous items, including a firearm, that were stolen from the vehicle.
Walmart, 217 Garrisonville Road, 11/8 2:10 p.m. Deputy H. H. Cassetta responded to the business for a shoplifting investigation. Loss prevention had identified a subject skip-scanning items during check out. The subject was identified as Jacques Frimpong, 34 of Stafford. Frimpong was released on a summons for shoplifting.DUI
American Legion Road, 11/8 1:24 a.m. Sergeant E. E. West conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. Upon making contact with the driver, Sergeant West noticed that he had red, glassy eyes. Sergeant West also detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emanating from his person. After field sobriety tests were performed, the subject was taken into custody. The driver was identified as Bryce Whitaker, 34, of Woodbridge. Whitaker was charged with driving under the influence (second offense in five years) and reckless driving by speed. Whitaker was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
Gray Birch Lane and Eustace Road, 11/8 3:47 a.m. Deputy S. Waheed responded to this area for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Information was provided that there was a vehicle with hazard lights on facing the opposite lanes of travel. Deputy Waheed arrived on scene to locate the vehicle disabled and partially in the ditch. Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle and Deputy Waheed immediately noticed that driver’s speech was slurred. Additionally, Deputy Waheed noted that the driver was unsteady on their feet and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from their breath. After field sobriety testing, the driver was taken into custody. The driver was identified as Kara Alley, 51, of Stafford. Alley was charged with driving under the influence and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.ASSAULT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT
Edwards Drive, 11/9 4:16 a.m. Deputy M. A. Holub responded for a disturbance complaint. It was described that a subject showed up at a residence intoxicated and was refusing to leave. The subject’s identity was provided as Bradlee Sheedy. Sergeant S. C. Jett located the subject, who matched the description provided, walking along the side of Deacon Road. The subject showed clear signs of intoxication and provided false identification to the deputies. As deputies were attempting to take Sheedy into custody, he began to actively resist. While at the Rappahannock Regional Jail, Sheedy struck several deputies as he was still actively resisting. Bradlee Sheedy, 21, of Mineral was charged with four counts of assault and battery to law enforcement, four counts of obstruction of justice, providing false identification to law enforcement, and public intoxication.
