Teen Girl Abducted, Raped in Bristow; Police Seek Suspect in Red Ford Escape

Prince William County Police have arrested the man accused of abducting and raping a teenage girl in Bristow earlier this week.

The incident occurred the night of November 6, when a girl under 18 walked away from the Youth for Tomorrow facility on Hazel Circle Drive. Near Golf Academy Drive and Nokesville Road, she approached a man parked nearby. Police say the man pulled a knife, forced her into his red 2003 Ford Escape, and sexually assaulted her multiple times before she escaped and got help from bystanders.

On November 7, officers found the suspect, Dominic Kuykendall, 53, at an abandoned home in Nokesville. He was arrested without incident. Kuykendall is charged with two counts of rape and one count of abduction with intent to defile. He is being held without bond.

Sexual Assault Investigation [ARREST] – On November 7, the suspect, identified as Dominic KUYKENDALL, who was sought in connection to a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred in the area of Golf Academy Dr and Nokesville Rd in Bristow (20136) on November 6 was arrested. Officers received information and located the accused at an abandoned residence in Nokesville where he was taken into custody without incident.

Sexual Assault Investigation – On November 6 at 9:09PM, officers responded to the area of Golf Academy Dr and Nokesville Rd in Bristow (20136) to investigate a sexual assault. The investigation revealed the female victim, who is under the age of 18, voluntarily left the Youth for Tomorrow facility on Hazel Circle Dr on foot. While walking in the above area, she approached an unknown man, later identified as the accused, who was parked nearby in his vehicle. During the course of their encounter, the accused displayed a knife and forced the victim into the vehicle. While inside the vehicle, the accused sexually assaulted victim on more than one occasion. The victim was eventually able to get out of the vehicle and flag down nearby bystanders who contacted police. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Dominic KUYKENDALL. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.
