
A Stafford man was arrested on multiple charges following a traffic stop on Richmond Highway. Deputy D. S. Jett stopped the vehicle for speeding and identified the driver as a 25-year-old man from Stafford.
The investigation revealed his license was suspended due to a prior DUI, and he was required to have an ignition interlock device, which was not present. An open bottle of alcohol was found in the vehicle, police said. The driver was charged with a second DUI offense within five years, driving with a suspended license, and reckless driving.
In another incident, a 42-year-old man from Triangle was arrested at Black Rifle Coffee Company for public intoxication. Deputy M. N. Sayegh found the man swaying and slurring his speech. A search revealed drug paraphernalia with residue of suspected controlled substances. He was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
On Stafford Avenue, a 20-year-old Stafford resident was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm after a traffic stop revealed a loaded gun in the vehicle. The driver admitted to having the weapon, leading to his arrest.
Additionally, a 27-year-old man from King George was charged with trespassing at a FedEx location on Centreport Parkway. Despite management’s request to leave, he refused, resulting in his arrest.

TRESPASSING
Fed Ex, 180 Centreport Parkway, 11/06 8 :30 a.m. Sergeant J. W. Hutcheson responded to the business for a disturbance. Management advised that there was a contracted employee who was refusing to leave the property after being told to by management. Sergeant Hutcheson made contact with the individual who continued to not leave the property. The subject was identified as Maurice Gaskins Jr., 27, of King George. Gaskins was arrested and charged with trespassing. Gaskins was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Black Rifle Coffee Company, 591 Warrenton Road, 11/6 2:26 p.m. Deputy M. N. Sayegh responded to the business for a suspicious person report. It was further described that the individual described as suspicious appeared to be under the influence. Deputy Sayegh made contact with the subject. It was noted as the subject stood, he was swaying, nodding off, and had slurred speech. Deputy Sayegh placed the subject into custody. During a search incident to arrest, several items of drug paraphernalia containing residue of suspected controlled substances were located. The subject was identified as Antowon Baker, 42, of Triangle. Baker was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. Baker was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a secured bond.WEAPONS OFFENSE
Stafford Avenue, 11/7 2:49 a.m. Deputy D. S. Jett conducted a traffic stop in this area on a vehicle that was not displaying a front license plate. Deputy K. F. Shifflett responded to assist with the traffic stop. During the traffic stop investigation, the subject admitted to having a firearm concealed within the vehicle. The loaded firearm was recovered. The driver was identified as Prince Squire, 20, of Stafford. Squire was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed firearm. Squire was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.DUI
Richmond Highway / Hope Road, 11/6 3:22 a.m. Deputy D. S. Jett conducted a traffic stop in this area for a speeding motorist. The driver was identified as Lino Saldana Rodriguez, 25, of Stafford. The investigation revealed that Rodriguez’s license was suspended due to a DUI incident earlier in the year. Additionally, Rodriguez was supposed to be driving with an ignition interlock system. An open bottle of alcohol was observed in plain view within the vehicle. At the conclusion of the DUI investigation, Rodriguez was placed under arrest. Rodriguez was charged with driving under the influence (second offense within five years), driving suspended – DUI related, driving without ignition interlock, and reckless driving by speed.
