STAFFORD, Va. – FOX 5 DC’s Zip Trip series is back in Northern Virginia, and next week it’s Stafford County’s time to shine.
The station will broadcast live from Embrey Mill Town Center on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 7 to 11 a.m., highlighting local attractions, businesses, and community pride. It’s the latest stop in the station’s popular summer series, following recent visits to Fredericksburg and Occoquan earlier this summer.
A featured segment at 9:15 a.m. will spotlight a collaborative effort by Stafford’s craft breweries, which have teamed up to create a special VA250 beer in honor of Virginia’s 250th anniversary. Viewers will hear from representatives of:

Each brewery is expected to release its own version of the commemorative beer in the weeks ahead. More details will be available during the broadcast and through the breweries’ social media channels.
Stafford residents and visitors are encouraged to attend the live broadcast at Embrey Mill, take part in the community celebration, and maybe even appear on air. FOX 5’s Zip Trip segments typically include interviews, food tastings, local business spotlights, and fun for all ages.
This marks the third Zip Trip to the region this summer, following recent appearances in Fredericksburg and Occoquan.
