A bright gold and purple building on Princess Anne street offers creative twists on a beloved classic – Sprelly specializes in gourmet nut butter spreads and jellies that redefine the traditional PB&J with nearly two dozen exotic flavors.
Founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Adrian and Casey Silversmith, Sprelly moved from the Made in Virginia store in downtown Fredericksburg to the Canal Quarter District in 2021.
This holiday season, Sprelly created the “Flight of Sprelly.” The sample pack features three top-selling pairings, a bumper sticker, a spreader, and more, making it a perfect stocking stuffer for foodies and PB&J lovers alike. The shop has sold out of their flights several times since launching the product, but they quickly restock the flight each time.
For those who like to try before they buy, Sprelly offers tastings of their entire line of gourmet spreads and jellies. Customers can mix and match to create their perfect pairing, choosing from over two dozen flavors of butters and jams. The labels are designed to show which flavors pair well together, using small symbols that line up if they match.

Together since 1999, Adrian and Casey said their favorite parts of the holiday season are spending time with family, cooking Swedish meatballs and cinnamon rolls, and “spreading Sprelly love.”
Sprelly is located at 1501 Princess Anne Street. They are closed Wednesdays, but otherwise open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They also offer online shopping and shipping.
