Republican Peters beats primary challenger by 60 points

Peters

VPAP: Republican Lee Peters is projected to have beaten his Primary Election challenger Micheal Kasey by 60 points in his bid for the 65th District House of Delegates seat.

Peters will face former Delegate Joshua Cole, a Democrat who lost to Republican Tara Durant in 2021.

The district includes southern Stafford County, a portion of Spotsylvania County, and Fredericksburg. The seat has no incumbent and is a competitive district, not leaning toward any party.
