Fredericksburg-area residents have a new healthcare option after opening a new emergency room on Route 3.
Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center opened its Fredericksburg ER at 5005 Plank Road in Spotsylvania. The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on February 23.
The full-service center has 11 rooms and 10 exam rooms and treats adults and children. More serious cases may be taken to Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, about nine miles away.
The facility, like Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, is managed by HCA, Virginia, which, along with Mary Washington Healthcare, are the region’s primary medical providers.
Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center says:
Fredericksburg ER, a campus of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, is now officially open at 5005 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22407.
