On Monday, November 1 at 8:59 p.m., firefighters were called to the 13000 block of Frost Drive in Nokesville for a single-family home with a fire in the garage.
Crews arrived and found flames shooting from the garage. Crews doused the blaze.
The home sustained extensive damage, and no injuries were reported.
The incident displaced two adults. The Fire Marshal’s Office determined the cause of the fire was improperly discarded fireplace ashes.
