Charles Edward Pulley was born on October 14th, 1946 to Edward and Vivian Pulley in Washington D.C and is the eldest of nine children.
After high school, Charles entered the United States Army where he served in Bravo Company as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge Medical Clerk. After changing his MOS, Charles went Airborne as a parachutist before receiving an honorable discharge after 15 years of active and reserve duty.
