  • Decatur has worked at the Stafford sheriff’s office since 1986.
  • He ran against Chad Oxley, one of his former deputies.
  • Here are the race results.

Next door at the county courthouse, Commonwealth Attorney Eric Olsen will keep his job.

  • He’s held the seat since 2011 after the long-serving Daniel Chichester was given 11 terms in the office.
  • Julia Dillon challenged Olsen for the job.
  • Race results.

There were also multiple constitutional officers on the ballot in Stafford County.

  • Incumbent Scott Mayausky easily fended off two challengers to keep his job as Commissioner of the Revenue.
