Stafford Board of Supervisors results: 18 votes separate Cavalier from Allen

Cavalier is the incumbent Stafford County Supervisor in the Griffis-Widewater District.

  • Challenger Tinesha Allen, however, has ahead in the polls by 18 votes.
  • Here are the race results.
  • We can’t reach Cavalier, so we don’t yet know if he’ll ask for a recount.

Allen told us she’s exicted about topping Cavalier in the vote count.

  • She says she’s not heard from Cavalier on this election night.
  • “This win signifies people are ready for change, different representation, and for a different voice,” Allen told Potomac Local.

There are two other open seats on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors.

In the Rock Hill District, Crystal Vanuch easily beat her challenger Gwen Bell.

  • Here are the race results.
  • Vanuch replaces the outgoing Wendy Maurer, whose been on the Board of Supervisors since 2015 and chose not to seek re-election.
  • She’s also served as the county’s Planning Commission for the past four years, and currently is its Chairman.

In the George Washington District, Tom Coen (I) keeps his seat as the George Washington District Supervisor.

  • He ran unopposed, but here are the results.
