You’ve agreed to be interviewed for the Potomac Local Podcast.
That’s great. Now what?
Here’s some helpful information and tips.
The interview will be conducted over Skype, and the conversation will be recorded and the audio will be used to create a new edition of the Potomac Local Podcast.
The video and audio of the call may be used as additional content to be posted to Potomac Local’s social media accounts to include Youtube and Facebook.
For a great interview, please follow these simple steps:
1. You’ll need to use Skype on your desktop or laptop computer. Sorry, but using the Skype app on a cell phone won’t work for this interview.
2. You’ll need a microphone, so if your desktop or laptop doesn’t already have a built-in microphone, you’ll need to plug one in. A desk microphone or lapel microphone is nice to have but not absolutely necessary. You can always use headphones with a microphone on the cord.
3. We recommend using headphones so you can hear the interview questions clearly.
We’ll call you ahead of time to make sure everything is working before we begin the interview/start recording the call.
Be sure to email us ahead of time if you have any questions.
We can’t wait to have you on the Potomac Local Podcast.
