STAFFORD - (Press Release) A traffic stop conducted by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office on Interstate 95 on Friday morning led to the arrest of a suspect on felony drug charges.
On November 16, 2018, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Deputy Hutcheson was traveling northbound on Interstate 95 when he observed several vehicles go around a slow moving vehicle with its hazard lights on in the left lane.
The deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver who was identified as Thomas Guglielmo, 22, of Morris Plains, New Jersey. The deputy then observed a substance consistent with marijuana on the suspect’s person. Additional units then arrived at the scene. Deputy Dupree approached the suspect vehicle and observed a substance consistent with marijuana on the passenger seat.
