An all-clear was given at Battlefield High School. The evacuation was blamed on a faulty alarm, said schools spokeswoman Irene Cromer.

Battlefield High School near Haymarket was evacuated this morning.
Fire and rescue crews were called to the school on Graduation Drive about 10 a.m. after a fire alarm sounded, according to initial information.
Crews are investigating the cause of the alarm. No smoke or fire has been detected.
