Virginia State Police are looking into the cause of a fatal crash on Interstate 95 in Stafford County early Sunday morning.
Here’s information from state police:
At 5:14 am, Sunday (Aug 9), Virginia State Police Sr. Trooper H. Jaime Jr., responded to a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 95 in Stafford County at the 131 mile marker.
A car traveling south on I-95 ran off the left side of the road and caught fire. The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene. The driver’s remains were transported to the Office of the Medical examiner in Richmond for examination, autopsy and positive identification.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
