There was a bank robbery this morning at the Wells Fargo location on 2876 Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge.
According to Prince William police, during the robbery no weapon was seen and no one was injured.
An undisclosed sum of money was taken from the bank, stated Prince William police.
The individual is described as a black male, around 5’11” and 130 pounds. He was wearing a blue t-shirt with white lettering, blue jeans, sunglasses, a mask and possibly a wig, stated Prince William police.
Potomac Local was on scene, and witnessed a helicopter searching the area for the suspect. Multiple police units are on scene at the Wells Fargo, with additional units posted along Dale Boulevard. K-9 units are also on scene, according to Prince William police.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen heading toward Interstate 95.
