A party DJ told police someone stole his car outside a house party on Community Drive near Manassas on Friday night.
According to police, two men at the party asked the DJ to step outside to talk. Once outside, the victim was held at gunpoint, and was robbed of cash and his car keys.
The two men made off his the DJ’s car.
Quantico Marine Corps Base has a new commanding officer.
Col Joseph Murray took command of the military installation on Friday. He replaces Col. David Maxwell who held the job since 2012.
At a change of command ceremony, one official likened the job as a city manager overlooking a town of 20,000 Marines, federal workers, and civilians.
The City of Manassas will make its debut on the History Channel this year.
The national TV network is producing a show on war trains.
Doug Hohorta works at the Manassas Museum, and he will be featured on the program to air at the end of the year.
