Last night, Prince William police responded to a call in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery.
According to a Prince William police release, the victim is a 44-year old Triangle man that stated he was meeting with an acquaintance near the River Oak Community Center.
When the victim arrived, he saw the acquaintance with another individual who assaulted the victim and showed him a handgun, while robbing him and taking his money, said a Prince William police release.
Minor injuries were reported.
A Prince William police K-9 unit is currently being used to search for the two suspects.
A Prince William police release described one suspect as a black male, 35 to 40 years old, 5’10”, and 180 pounds, thin build with short black hair.
The other suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, 6’0”, and 250 pounds with a medium build.
