Dumfries woman charged, another wanted for assault with pepper spray

The Prince William police responded to a call on Monday evening in Dumfries to investigate an assault.

According to a Prince William police release, the victim of the assault, a 30-year old Woodbridge woman, said that one suspect, who was a friend, approached her car that was parked in front of a residence. 

When one suspect, 42-year old Dumfries resident Merley Jean Dorestal, approached the vehicle, she sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray, according to a Prince William police release.
