Late Friday night Javier Osorto-Guevara was arrested for assault, battery and drunk in public after officers witnessed him hitting a security guard at the El Damazo Restaurant on Dumfries Road in Manassas.

At approximately 11:30PM on January 30, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to El Damazo Restaurant, located at 10444 Dumfries Rd, for a report of disorderly subjects in front of the business. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject striking the on-site security guard in the torso. It was learned through further investigation that the suspect, Javier Armando OSORTO-GUEVARA, had been disorderly inside the restaurant and kept attempting reentry after being escorted out by security. OSORTO-GUERVARA (32) of 7641 McDowell Ct, Dumfries, VA 22026 was charged with drunk in public and assault and battery. He was held on a $3,500.00 bond and has a pending court date of March 17, 2015.
