Fire and rescue crews in Stafford County were called to a home on Mussleman Road on Monday night.

On Monday December 8th, 2014 at 1934 hours, Stafford County Fire and Rescue units responded to 214 Musselman Road for a residential structure fire.
Battalion Chief 1 arrived at 1938 hours and reported fire showing from the front of a single story single family dwelling. Engine 1 (Falmouth Station ) arrived at 1938 hours secured a water supply and deployed an attack line and mounted an aggressive interior attack while personnel from Quint 12 (Berea Station) conducted a primary search of the residence. The fire was brought under control in approximately 10 minutes; searches on all floors confirmed no occupants.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Stafford Fire Marshal and damage estimates are not available. Four adults and two children were displaced and received assistance from the Red Cross. There were no fire department injuries during this incident.
