The Rt. 625 Passing Road Bridge has been reopened and it’s 3-ton weight limit lifted, as repairs and updates were completed on the site.
The bridge was previously a hazard, due to structural deficiency, and required new steel beams and timber deck material to be installed. While in it’s original state, the bridge had a weight limit of 3-tons, the new updates will allow the weight limit to be permanently lifted.
The bridge, which was built in 1958, currently has traffic of about 48 vehicles per day.
