Stafford residents should brace themselves for more winter weather, as overnight snow showers and freezing are projected for tonight.
To prepare for dangerous road conditions, VDOT has begun sending out units to apply chemicals, salt and clear off roads as the weather begins.
Little to no accumulation is expected, according to the National Weather Service, but it will add precipitation to existing snowfall and may make for dangerous walking and driving conditions on Tuesday morning.
