WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The driver of a Hyundai Tuscon that collided with a moped killing its driver faces charges nearly three months after the fatal crash.
The crash occurred Aug. 15 in the area of Featherstone Square along U.S. 1 in Woodbridge. News of the arrest came today.

Crash – Fatality *ARREST – On October 28th, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit charged the driver of the 2005 Hyundai Tucson involved in the fatal crash reported in the 14500 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on August 15th.

The victim in the crash, 53-year-old Ray A. Daugherty, was flown to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
