Robbers Demand Cash, Not Chicken

WOODBRIDGE ,Va.– A KFC restaurant was robbed at gunpoint, police say.

Armed Robbery – On August 21st at 9:09PM, police responded to the KFC located at 1307 Devils Reach Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery.

Employees reported to police that two unknown males entered the business where one of the men approached the counter to make a transaction. Once the register was opened, the suspect reach over the counter, pushed the victim back, and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency.

During the encounter, the other suspect displayed a handgun and pointed it towards the victim. After taking the money, both suspects fled on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used in the search for the suspects.

Suspect Descriptions:

2 black males, both reported to be between 18 & 19 years of age—

1st male was light skinned, between 6’0”-6’1”, 170lbs with a thin build, short black hair, and a mustache

Last seen wearing a gray wooded sweatshirt with blue, black, and white dots and blue jeans

 

2nd male [armed suspect] was dark skinned, between 5’7”-5’8”, 180lbs, with a mohawk haircut and mustache

Last seen wearing a long sleeve black dress shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, black dress pants, and black casual shoes
